U.S. investment company Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) will further its investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), said David Petraeus, chairman of the KKR Global Institute, on Wednesday. Petraeus held separate talks with BiH presidency member Nebojsa Radmanovic and Prime Minister Vjekoslav Bevanda to discuss more investments in the country. Petraeus said KKR's presence in BiH would encourage potential investors to bring more quality investment to the Balkan country. Both Radmanovic and Bevanda welcomed the company's plan to invest further in BiH. KKR has assets worth more than 40 billion U.S. dollars globally. It has already invested in BiH through Telemach, a TV and internet provider, as well as the telecommunication company United Media. The investment giant plans to launch a regional TV channel called N1 in BiH, local media reported. The firm also plans to increase investments in the telecom sector.
