Vodafone Qatar board approves changes

Vodafone Board of Directors unanimously approved amendments to the company's Articles of Association and Memorandum of Association during its Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly held here yesterday. The amendments aim to enable the company to provide its fixed-line phone services throughout Qatar according to the Second Fixed Telecommunications License issued by ictQATAR in April 2010. Established June 26, 2008, Vodafone Qatar is a joint venture between Qatar Foundation and Vodafone International Communications Group. The company was listed on the Qatar Exchange in 22nd July 2009.
