Vodafone Qatar reveals net loss of QR240 million

Vodafone Qatar disclosed the semi annual financial statements for the period ending September 30, 2012.  The reviewed financial statements for the period ending September 30, 2012 revealed a net loss of QR 240 Million in comparison to a net loss QR 237.3 Million for the same period last year, the company said in a statement.  The Company\'s Loss per Share (LPS) amounted to QR 0.28 as of September 30, 2012 versus (LPS) QR 0.28 for the corresponding period in 2011.  Vodafone Qatar PLC joined Vodafone Group on 26th of June, 2008. Not only is Vodafone Qatar Q.S.C. part of the world\'s leading international mobile communications group, the Vodafone Group, it proudly received the second public mobile networks and services license in the State of Qatar as well.  Vodafone Qatar switched on its mobile network on 01 March 2009 and shortly after started delivering great value to its customers with a range of exciting products and services.
