Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, on Sunday inaugurated the 2012 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec), which expects to host 50,000 visitors from 91 countries over the next four days and 300 expert industry speakers. Sheikh Hazza said that the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the guidance and support of General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, had helped drive the development of the Abu Dhabi oil and gas sector and the advancement of the UAE’s energy industry as a whole. The 15th edition of the largest oil and gas show outside North America is being held on the theme ‘Sustainable Energy Growth: People, Responsibility & Innovation’.
