
The Algerian city of Wahran is to host on the 22nd of February 2014 Africa Green Economy conference in which government officials and experts from African countries and representatives of international organizations are scheduled to participate. The conference, to be opened by Prime Minister Abdulmali Sallal, will discuss the challenges facing Africa in the field of green economy and assess its needs in terms of financial and technological support as well as human resources.Participants in the conference will tackle ways to wipe out poverty through creating jobs in the green economy, health, waste management in addition to other topics on new and renewable energies and preservation of environmental balance.
