China\'s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) will implement anti-dumping measures on some imported Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) from Nov. 21, according to an announcement from the ministry on Tuesday. The measures target TDI, a widely used organic compound in the chemical industry, imported from the European Union (EU). The measures are \"temporary\", said the MOC, without providing the exact period of validity. A brief statement on the MOC\'s website said investigations concerning the dumping margin and possible damage to similar products and industries in China started on March 23. The domestic industry has been \"substantially\" harmed by the EU\'s dumping of TDI, said the MOC statement, adding that the measures were based on anti-dumping regulations.
