Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) delivered here on Saturday, in cooperation with Jordan National Red Crescent Society (JRC), winter aid to around 300 Syrian families, which comes within the framework of KRCS' humanitarian aid campaign in Syria's neighboring countries. Speaking to KUNA, Kuwaiti Ambassador in Amman Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij has handed winter aid coupons, specialized for Syrian refugees in Jordan, to JRC President Dr. Mohammed Al-Hadid, in presence of Head of KRCS Mission here Khaled Al-Zaid. The winter aid project comes in line with several KRCS projects within the framework of a Kuwaiti humanitarian activity that is continuing since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis three years ago, Al-Duaij stated to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). Also, this activity comes upon directives of the Kuwaiti political leadership, headed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in alleviating the suffering of Syrian refugees by providing humanitarian assistance in order to meet their basic necessities such as food, clothes, and shelter, added the Kuwaiti Ambassador.
