Dubai - Arabstoday

VET Middle East exhibition and Veterinary Outlook Forum to showcase latest veterinary products and medical technologies.  More than 50 international suppliers of the latest veterinary technology, supplements, vaccines and instruments will be sharing the stage next month in Dubai at the leading trade event for the veterinary industry in the Middle East. Taking place from 2-4 April at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, VET Middle East puts a spotlight on an increasingly dynamic animal healthcare sector, providing a dedicated platform for exhibitors to expand their presence in the region’s growing veterinary industry. International exhibitors from throughout the USA, China, Europe and Africa will take part, as they look to showcase their latest products and establish long term partnerships with veterinary hospitals, distributers, and government municipality departments in the region. Henke-Sass Wolf, the German manufacturer of animal medical application systems, syringes and needles, will use the show to launch their new injection bar and automatic self-filling syringe designed specifically for the Middle East market. The 85 year old company sees the Middle East as a key emerging market for veterinary supplies, as the European economy continues to struggle through the Euro Zone crisis. Stefan Knefel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said: “We have been concentrating our sales and marketing activities in the Middle East for the last six to 12 months, as we see a very strong market growth in this region for the foreseeable future. “We are now developing new products specifically designed for the Middle East, and Vet Middle East is the only event where we can present these products to a wide regional audience under one roof.  The exhibition has become a crucial element of our marketing strategy, and we consistently bring in positive results.” Diagon, a Hungarian manufacturer of clinical diagnostics also expect lucrative opportunities from the Middle East veterinary market” it is forecasting its revenue generated from the Middle East region to increase by 51 per cent in 2012 reaching $5 million.
