Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal underlined Thursday the need to facilitate investment for private economic operators with a view to building a "strong and diversified economy." "Facilitating investment for private economic operators is necessary for the building of a strong and diversified national economy, which will generate wealth and job opportunities," said Sellal at a meeting with representatives of the civil society of Guelma (537-km east of Algiers), at the end of his inspection visit to the province. The Premier hailed the efforts made by some private investors, particularly for the export of their products to foreign markets. During this meeting, the Prime Minister underlined the revolutionary history of the province of Guelma, recalling the huge sacrifices of his children during the demonstrations of 8 May 1945 and during the National Revolution War. Sellal also recalled the 35th anniversary of the death of President Houari Boumediene, insisting on the "strong relationship between the late president and President Abdelaziz Bouteflika."
