
Vietnamese Finance Minister Dinh Tien Dung and Cambodian Minister of Economy and Finance Aun Pornmoniroth signed a financial cooperation agreement on infrastructure development in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Thursday. The pact is aimed at joint implementation of construction of Long BinhChreythom Bridge, which links Vietnamese province of An Giang and Cambodian province of Kandal. After finishing, the bridge will contribute to improving traveling condition of the people in the two border provinces as well as increasing economic and trade cooperation between the two provinces in particular and between the two countries in general, according to a press release of Vietnamese Ministry of Finance. The signing of the financial cooperation agreement reaffirmed traditional friendly relations between Vietnam and Cambodia. The delegation of Cambodia led by Prime Minister Hun Sen is visiting Vietnam from Thursday to Saturday.
