External relations officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Nada Yassin said that Jordan's Zaatari refugee camp has reached its maximum capacity, adding that new refugees will be moved to Azraq refugee camp, around 100 km away from Amman.
The Jordanian Al Ghad newspaper quoted the UN official as saying Wednesday that there are nearly 80,000 Syrian refugees at Zaatari refugee camp and 24,000 refugees at Azraq refugee camp, against 4,500 refugees at "Murijep al Fhoud" refugee camp.
She further urged the international community to offer financial aid that enables the UNHCR of continuing to provide assistance to the Syrian refugees.
