Korean Governor vows to make Osong leading hub of biotechnology

An international bio exposition to be held in the central city of Osong next month will help pave the way for the city to become a leading hub of biotechnology, one of the chief organizers of the event said Thursday.
Hosted by the government of North Chungcheong Province, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the local municipal government, the Osong International Bio Industry Exposition is set to kick off on Sept. 16 for a 17-day run in Osong, some 120 kilometers south of Seoul.
